Cuddly Bags for Kids  (Photo with Chaka Khan

In 2011 J'Rose started "Cuddly Bags" for foster children.  She was worried about how the kids must feel when they are taken from their home and put into foster care, going to a place usually without their belongings that is unfamiliar and to people they don't know.  J'Rose created Cuddly Bags that she gives out to foster care agencies and a Cuddly Bag is given to a child to take with them to their foster home.  The bags are stuffed with comfort and supplies like  toothbrush, toothpaste, shower gel, brush, sometimes socks, and also puts in a journal, pens, crayons, coloring books, activities books, bracelets and hair clips for girls, toys for boys and a stuffed beanie baby with a hand written note (she writes every one herself)  and ties it to the beanie babies paw.  The note says "Please name me, care for me and be my friend".  In 2013,  J'Rose has decided to give out "Christmas Cuddly bags" to homeless shelters during the holidays, thinking how hard it must be for the kids to not be in their home during Christmas and is filling the bags with lots of fun things to cheer them up.    Donations are always welcome and you can go to "contact" and send her an email to let her know you'd like to help.
